- Decide on an event back at home before you come here in Kenya
- Get all your friends and family involved so that they may help you with pulling the strings
- Have fun and enjoy raising money for Amani CDP!
Why Fundraise?
We are only able to achieve so much in Kenya thanks to the generosity of our fundraisers. The money they raise goes towards funding the sustainability of our project at Amani CDP and other new emerging projects. Without these funds we really would not be able to do what we do. The genesis of this journey was tough and bitter but your spiritual, social, prayers, logistical, material and financial contribution saw us through. Thank you!
Why do I need to fundraise if I am volunteering?
We humbly do ask anyone who would like to volunteer with us to raise between £ 160-200 (check volunteering page) for each and every week they spend with us. This money covers the costs of the materials you use whilst volunteering with us. Everything from paint to cement and your accommodation are covered by your donation. Without your fundraising efforts we wouldn't be able to buy the materials you will need when you are with us in Kenya.
Need more information?
We have now made it even easier for you to fundraise. This page contains all of the information you will need... if there is anything missing then please just let us know! The work at Amani is currently entirely supported by donations from our generous supporters, please help our work to continue by giving whatever you can. Thank you.
