January 2011We were blessed to See all our children going back to school with some joining kindergarten, and others being promoted to new classes. This year we have 8 students in classes 8 who will be seating for class 8 exams, while 2 will be seating for KCSE Exams.We need your prayers for this children.
We were priviledged to be visited by Claudia Carrol,her Mother Mitchel from Australia and Stayed for three weeks.
February 2011
Keith Castelino also visited Amanicdp,with Mithcel with one of their friends,they were accommpanied with Mrs Mary Asiko who represnted William Asiko.It was fun all over for they came with some donations towards the Children which included School Fees,Shoes,School Bags,School Uniforms,Pullovers and Stationeries for the Children.
In the same February Dr and Mrs Stephen Muhudhia led a team of Doctors from Korea who paid a courtesy call and the children heard a very wonderful time with them for 3 hours and its our prayer that we may partner with them.
May 2011
May 30th Rebecca Sarah Hawley and Simon Wheeler from the UK visited Amani CDP and re-painted the house. They also built some storage shelves for the children’s clothing. All of the orphans thoroughly enjoyed the Sports Challenge Day that Rebecca and Simon organised – it was great fun! Rebecca stayed for 1 month, and Simon for 2 months.
June 2011
Pamela Bonney also arrived from the UK and will be staying for 5 months and will be boosting the chicken project with funds raised from her colleagues in the UK.
August 2011
Chris Saunders and his brother, along with Annick Smith will be visiting for 3 weeks. They will be building an additional pit latrine for us, as well as fencing and erecting a new entrance gate
